The World of Love Multicultural Carnival is the signature annual multicultural event presented by the North America Chinese Culture Promotion Society (NACCPS).
At its heart, the Carnival uses culture as a bridge — connecting communities and celebrating the diversity of Canada.

The North America Chinese Culture Promotion Society (NACCPS) is a Canadian non-profit cultural organization headquartered in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
Founded in 2021, NACCPS promotes Chinese culture while advancing intercultural understanding, community engagement, and collaboration within Canada’s multicultural society.
Through performing arts, cultural festivals, heritage exhibitions, youth programs, volunteer initiatives, and cross-cultural partnerships, the Society creates inclusive opportunities for artists, families, newcomers, and diverse communities to share and celebrate their cultural traditions.
By using culture as a bridge, NACCPS strives to strengthen community connections, encourage meaningful dialogue, and contribute to a more inclusive and cohesive society.
Our Journey
2022 — The Beginning
The first World of Love Multicultural Carnival was held at Town Centre Park in Coquitlam.
The event combined multicultural performances with Chinese cultural experiences such as Qinhuai lanterns, photography exhibitions, tea culture, incense culture, Hanfu, traditional crafts, and international food.
It established the Carnival’s core model:

2023 — Expanding Cultural Participation
In 2023, the Carnival expanded into a two-day celebration in Coquitlam.
The program featured cultural performances from more than ten ethnic communities, together with lantern exhibitions, cultural markets, food trucks, handicrafts, and community activities.
2024 — Creating Deeper Cultural Experiences
The third edition, held at Town Centre Park in 2024, placed greater emphasis on interactive cultural experiences.
Audiences were invited to explore traditional clothing, arts and crafts, multicultural exhibitions, Chinese lanterns, culinary demonstrations, traditional performing arts, and other immersive cultural activities.
2025 — A New Chapter
In 2025, Sound of Harmony was introduced as a new centerpiece of the World of Love Multicultural Carnival, marking a major evolution in the event’s format.
Moving beyond the traditional outdoor festival model, the Carnival embraced a more professional performing arts experience with a large-scale theatre production at the River Rock Show Theatre.
This new format brought together high-level Chinese cultural performances and professional artists from diverse communities, creating a more refined and powerful platform for multicultural artistic exchange.
